In 2008, physiotherapy and rehabilitation services benefited more than 254,000 patients in the province.

Statistics show that more than one million treatments were provided to patients who benefited from those services.

That achievement resulted from longer work shifts to treat more patients.

Sancti Spiritus has 22 Integral Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Wards, eight of which are equipped with cutting-edge technology to provide electrotherapy services.
