Cuban President Raul Castro Ruz met with Iran’s Special Envoy in Havana

Raul Castro asked the visitor to take kind regards to Iran’s President and ratified the Cuban government and people’s rejection of the Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip; he also referred to the actions adopted by the Non-Aligned Movement against the crimes perpetrated by Israel against the Palestinian people.
Raul Castro expressed his confidence that relations between Cuba and Iran will continue to strengthen under the principle of mutual respect and in the benefit of both nations.
Also present at the meeting were Cuban Foreign Minister Felipe Perez Roque and deputy foreign minister Marcos Rodriguez, as well as Iran’s ambassador to Cuba Mostafa Alaei.
