Company executives pointed out that the firm had a turnover of three million pesos until November, the highest over the past two decades.

The firm also filled all orders by clients, including those from the tourism sector.

The achievements resulted from stable supplies of raw materials and the high quality of furniture.

At present, all three local forestry companies (Baracoa, Imias and Guantánamo) supply Muebles Imperio with timber, in an effort to reduce imports of raw materials.

Muebles Imperio has already received 70 percent of orders planned for 2009.
