Elmer Ferrer is a Cuban rock and jazz guitar placer he will launch to the market  a new CD
Elmer Ferrer is a Cuban rock and jazz guitar placer. He has worked in several musical projects as well as on his own, the famous Elmer Ferrer band.

The album, he will launch to the market has not a final name yet, but the news reporter from Cubasi.cu has learned that it has 10 cuts, five of them are instrumental and the other five are sung by the Canadian diva Ndidi Onukwolo.

The recording of the guitar were made by Ferrer at home, while the other musical segment was in charge of the Abdala studios, from the Cuban capital.

Curently Elmer Ferrer is on tour around Argentina together with his band, with which he has already launched to the market two CDs: Metrópolis, a Cubadisco award and Fango Dance edited by the Canadian recording company Jonston Records.

The young musician has collaborated in many other projects such as Tesis de Menta, in which he participated as producer of his first album, and as a guitar player. In 2004 he recorded the first Cuban jazz DVD, called Jazz Cuba Today, together with two more important Cuban musicians: the jazz piano player Roberto Carcacés and the trumpet player Alexander Brown.

In 2006 and 2007, he made international tours with his band and he took part in the band of the singer and composer Carlos Varela, a figure of Cuban trova.
