The album also includes unforgettable songs as "Mi son es un misterio" by Ñico Saquito, "El reto", by Pedro Flores, "El cuarto de Tula" and "El encanto de tu boca", by Celina Gonzalez.

Not in vain those are the much-requested albums by tourists in this island and still receive awards at Cubadisco Awards, an event that extols the best of the record production on the island and most important celebration of the Cuban phonographic industry.

Since the 50’s, the art of this Cuban singer-song writer is known all around the Caribbean and in many South American countries, specially in Colombia, where some radio stations almost daily broadcast her music.

She was internationally acclaimed early in Europe, to the point that Peter Gabriel placed her as the star of one of the festivals Womad and in Albert May.

Celina has taken Cuban traditional guajira music to Spanish and French cities, giving live performances all around the world.

She was selected to head the festival Divas of the World in Stockholm, BBC and other important media dedicated special programs to her.

In 1984 she won the award for Best Singer at the 27th International Music Festival in Cali, Colombia and after a successful tour in Europe in 1988 she recorded a session for the BBC. Her biggest award came when she received the Golden Picasso medal by UNESCO. Then together with her son, Reutilio, she released the highly acclaimed "La Rica Cosecha" and performed a sell out concert at the Barbican Hall in London.
