Cuban Soccer Team to Depart for Trinidad and Tobago
Cuba’s team will not have three of its main players on the field of the Hasely Crawford Stadium, in Port of Spain. They are defender and captain Jorge Luis Clavelo, and midfielders Alain Cervantes and Jaine Colomé, all of them due to yellow card accumulation.

Cuba does not already have any chance of qualifying for South Africa, since it has only one victory and four losses, with five goals in favour and 15 against, with only three points, away from the 8 points that TT has, and the 12 the US team, which should be enough for both teams to qualify.

The Trinitarians will try to win this game to automatically pass to the next stage, and not to depend on the Guatemala-US results. But Cubans want to win.

“We are not going to give anything away, and we will try hard to win, since they beat us at home 3-1 and we want some revenge there” said the Cuban DT in an interview with ACN news agency.
