According to reports by the Cuban national weather forecast center, the hurricane is expected to make landfall on the southeastern coast of Cuba late Saturday.
Paloma has maximum sustained winds of 140 mph with higher gusts, which makes it a dangerous category four hurricane on the Saffir-Simpson scale. A slight decrease in the wind force is expected after landfall tonight.
