Cuban FM in New York to Present Cuban Resolution against US Blockade

“The blockade is the main obstacle for the economic and social development of the country and it is a flagrant violation of the human rights of the Cuban people,” reads the Granma article.
At a conservative estimate, in 2007 alone, this punitive policy caused Cuba economic losses to the tune of nearly 3.8 billion dollars.
Since the blockade began, it has caused Cuba more than $93 billion in economic losses, a figure that would be equivalent to $224.4 billion, considering the current value of the dollar.
