 	 More than 40 projects by moviemakers from 15 countries at Havana Film Festival
According to the organizing committee for the festival, which will celebrate its 30th anniversary in December, 30 projects are fiction films, 19 documentaries and a cartoon.

Most projects come from Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Cuba, Mexico, Uruguay, Venezuela, Bolivia and Brazil.

A committee will evaluate the materials to choose five finalists, which will be announced on November 15.

An international five-member jury will grant the award, which will provide funds to the award-winning filmmakers to complete their audiovisual works.

Havana's 30th International Festival of New Latin American Cinema is scheduled from December 2-12.

The Industry Section, which will be first held this year, includes five categories: Latin American Script Workshops, Ibero-American Films Crossing the Borders, New Looks, Latin America First Copy, and Cuban Audiovisual Market.
