To the summit all members of the Modern Pentathlon International Association will attend and they will agree on the dispositions that will rule this sport till London 2012 Olympic Games.

In statements to ACN, Mora said that this meeting will be of uttermost importance because the new direction of the entity will be elected to work in the current Olympiad. He added that on the wide working agenda many important topics will be discussed to introduce new competing ways as shooting-race combination.

This way of competing will favour the TV show and it is against the true essence of this sport. According to specialists those athletes with a greater handicap in fencing, swimming and riding will be the first ones to run and shoot.

“Cuba is a continental power in this sport, since we have a Pan Am medalist, who is also runner-up in the Centro American 2006 Games”, he added.
