Brain surgery by endoscopy was introduced recently in eastern Ciego de Avila province, where a state-of-the-art endoscope was installed to explore the brain and make surgery more effective.

Over the past few years, experts in Ciego de Avila have used endoscopic surgery – also known as minimal access surgery – in pediatrics, reconstructive, orthopedic, gynecological, traumatological and urological surgeries.
