The pages of the new number offer different perspectives to look at the varied film creation in Cuba, including movies about the past, Cuban films recently premiered, or even those still in the works. For instance, present in the magazine are articles on films like Personal Belongings by Alejandro Brugues and Los dioses rotos by Ernesto Daranas.
Gonzalez, who is National Literature Laureate, referred to the article titled En busca de la epifanía perdida (Looking for the lost epiphany), which tells about performance observed from the front stalls and it deals with elements that are not perceived by the public at times.
Other articles in the magazine refer to the film El viajero inmovil, dedicated to outstanding Cuban artist Jose Lezama Lima; Rita Montaner, who was brought to the screen as a stereotype, while she was not given the image deserved by her talent, said Gonzalez.
Usual sections in the magazine include critics and an homage to renowned Cuban director Octavio Cortazar, who passed away last March.
