 Arrive in Japan Cubas Woman Judokas
Professor Ronaldo Veitia stated to ACN that the team had arrived on Monday at 6 a.m. and were already at Budo University, where they will begin training on Tuesday.
Veitia praised the conditions at the university in the Japanese city of Shiba, where the team will train until July 31 – on which day that they will travel to Kyoto before heading out for China.

The last stage of preparation included stays in Italy and Spain, with training camps in the Basque country, Barcelona, Valencia and Madrid, where satisfactory results were obtained at each site.

During the tour, Cuban Judokas competed only in the Italian Tre Torre
Tournament, where they finished with six gold medals, three silvers and
one bronze.
 
The Cuban Olympic team is made up of Yanet Bermoy, in the 48 kilograms division; Yalegnis Mestre (52 kg), Yurisleidis Lupetey (57), Driulis González (63), Anaisis Hernández (70), Yalennis Castillo (78) and Idalis Ortiz (+78).
