Intellectual, scholars, political leaders and general public assisted to the opening of the exhibition in the India International Center cultural center, informs Granma in its web site which sites a report from Prensa Latina.

The photographs include pieces that cover Che´s first trip around Africa, his activities in UNO representing Cuba , his participation in the Congo guerilla and activities he undertook at the start of the Revolution.

The Indian painters, authors of the paintings, donated their pictures to the Cuban Embassy in New Dehli.

As part of the activity there was exhibited the documentary of the Cuban producer Pedro Chaskel, Una foto recorre el mundo (A picture goes around the world). There was also presented a digital photo exhibition that includes images of the man who would be later known as the Heroic Guerilla Leader, his tour around Latin America, his stay in Mexico and his visit to several countries, among them, India .

In the event there were, among others, Romesh Chandra, honor president of the World Peace Council; Suneet Chopra, member of the Central Committee of the Indian Comunist Party (Marxist) and general secretary of the Agriculture Workers Syndicate as well as representatives of the Indian press.
