Cuban Pianist Wins International won first prize at the Third International Citta di Avezzano Piano Contest
Madrigal participated in the European Pianist Performance Competition "the top category in this event" and was unanimously acclaimed winner by a jury made up by well-known personalities of the European music scene, reported the Juventud Rebelde newspaper today.

For Madrigal, this prize adds to his rich collection of international awards and defines him as one of Cubas greatest potentials among piano performers.

Madrigal is currently in Italy, where he studies for two years at the Lago di Como International Academy.

There he is receiving training from some of the todays most significant maestros, such as Martha Argerich, Dimitri Bashkirov and William Grant Nabore.
