1,230 Representatives of 56 countries will come to Cuba for the first of May
Some 1,230 labor leaders, politicians, members of social and progressive movements and solidarity with Cuba organizations from 56 countries will be present on Thursday, May 1 for the International Workers Day parades in the Plaza de la Revolucion in Havana and in five provinces and the Isla de la Juventud.

According to Raymundo Navarro, of the Cuban Workers Federation (CTC) secretariat, the foreign visitors, representing 129 organizations from around the world, will join Cuban workers and the general population in the annual celebration.

Starting Monday April 28, a program of visits to workplaces and other places of interest is arranged for the guests, including their participation in a cultural gala to take place on Tuesday evening at the Astral Theater in the capital.

Likewise, the majority of the guests will attend an international solidarity gathering sponsored by the CTC at the Havana Convention Center on Friday, May 2.
