According to Prensa Latina news agency, Cuba is participating in the event with a varied offer of products and services in the fields of biotechnology, information technologies, communications, medicine, the sports industry, energy and the environment.
The Cuban delegation to this international fair is headed by Deputy Foreign Trade Minister Nancy Cubillas Pino.
Meanwhile, Odalis Seijo Garcia, vice president of the Cuban Chamber of Commerce, leads the Cuban side to the Third Session of the Cuba-Viet Nam Joint Entrepreneurial Committee that begins on Thursday also in Hanoi.
Representatives from Cuban and Vietnamese companies will hold a business round after the session of the committee, which was created three years ago by the chambers of commerce of Havana and Hanoi to promote trade, investments and other economic ties between the two countries.
The Expo Viet Nam 2008 International Fair, which concludes next Sunday, is being attended by some 700 exhibitors from 15 countries under the slogan "Integration and development".
