Luis Eduardo Aute, Spanish Singer and Songwriter will Perform in Havana, Cuba During the Second Half of March.
The event that, as an exception, will be held this year in Cuba dedicated to the islands Nueva Trova song movement, will also serve to pay homage to the prestigious Spanish artist, who is a long-time friend of Cuba.

The event is set for March 14th through the 23rd. Aute will perform at the festivals closing, when he will also show the Cuban people his work as a writer, painter and filmmaker, according to EFE news agency.

The Spanish musician will offer a concert of symphonic music and a show. He will share the stage with prestigious Cuban singers, said EFE, quoting sources of the Cuban Music Institute.

On March 16th, Aute will present a suite, which he composed, at the Amadeo Roldán Auditorium. On the 23rd, he will offer a huge concert at the Karl Marx theatre, Cubas biggest. Hell share the stage with renowned Cuban musicians like Silvio Rodríguez, Carlos Varela, Vicente Feliú, Santiago Feliú, Amaury Pérez, Liuba María Hevia and Pancho Amat and his group Cabildo del Son.

Aute, who visited Cuba for the first time in 1978 and later launched his CD 'Autorretratos here in 2004, will inaugurate a personal exhibit at the National Museum of Fine Arts. He also plans to present a book of poems and will exhibit his films in a Havana movie theater.
