A Delegation from the Mexican State of Campeche in Cuba to streghten Ties

The journalist and founder of groups of solidarity with the island, Carlos Joaquin Reyes, told Prensa Latina that the group is opposed to the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the US on this island for almost half century.
We also condemn the imprisonment of the antiterrorist Cuban Five, he declared.
Reyes confirmed that, on Monday at Casa Benito Juarez in this capital, he will present a book of his journalistic articles regarding the relation between Campeche and Cuba.
In 1987 to fight what the US is doing against Cubans, we created in our country the first Committee of Defense of the Revolution, he recalled.
The group will also tour places of economic and social interest in the province of Matanzas, east of Havana.
