Pablo Milanés returns to Chile
The famous singer Pablo Milanés, considered, together with Silvio Rodríguez, and Noel Nicola, one of the founders of the Cuban Nueva Trova is returning to Chile with five presentations January 2008.

This great Caribbean singer with over 40 years career and about 30 edited records, will tour Talca, Santiago, Concepción, Temuco and Viña del Mar wit his great hits, such as Amor de Ciudad Grande, Yolanda, Yo no te pido, Tus Ojos Claros, or Mis 22 años, considered the union between the feeling and the Caribbean ballads by including new musical and vocal elements precursor of the Cuban music that came later on.

His presentation in Santiago will be made at the tennis central court of the National Stadium, together with a band of nine musicians - some of them are members of Irakere, one of the most famous Cuban jazz bands - and will also perform songs from his next record El Regalo, qualified by Milanés as a reunion with his musical roots of the Nueva Trova.

Program:

Talca on Tuesday the 22nd of January at the Regional del Maule Theatre.

Santiago on Friday the 25th of January at 21:00 hours at the central court of the National Stadium.

Concepción at the Sur Activo Gym on Saturday the 26th of January.

The fourth presentation will be in Ternuco on Sunday the 27th of January at the Municipality theatre of the city.

Finally the show in Viña del Mar on Tuesday the 29th of January at 21:00 hours at the Municipality theatre will close the presentations of Milanés.
