Actor Jorge Perugorria (Strawberry and Chocolate), the most universal of Cuban actor at present exhibited a sample of his paintings as part of the program for the 29 New Latin American Fil m Festival that took place from the 4th to December 14 in this city.
Perugorria unites his passion for performance to that of canvases, colors and easels and during the mayor reunion of the seventh art in the island he opened his collection in the Guayasamin House of Old Havana, patrimony of Humanity.
In the event were also present Vladimir Cruz, the sidekick of Strawberry and Chocolate.
Born in Havana barely 40 years ago, Jorge Perugorria, has credits in relevant films like Quartet in Havana (Manuel Gutierrez Aragon), Earth of Fire (Miguel Littin) and Strawberry and Chocolate and Guantanamera (Tomas Gutierrez Alea-Juan Carlos Tabio) which gave him worldwide popularity.
