The health system in the eastern Cuban province of Ciego de Avila has improved dental services.

All ten municipalities are equipped with 262 dental modules, so that kind of service reaches every corner of the province.

In addition, experts noted the existence of 25 mobile units that are used to provide dental care to schools and rural communities.

Ciego de Avila has 385 stomatologists and 470 dental technicians. That number will increase next year, when more dentists and technicians will graduate.

Several polyclinics in Ciego de Avila are being remodeled and new equipment will be installed to improve dental services in the province.
