International Encounter of Editors of Scientific Magazines Began in Havana
The Sixth International Encounter of Editors of scientific magazines began on Tuesday at the Institute of Animal Science in Havana with the participation of 78 delegates from six countries.

This event is another way to unite all the peoples of the region and particularly those that have joined the projects of the Bolivarian Alternative for the Americas (ALBA), said the president of the Cuban Academy of Sciences, Dr. Ismael Clark, during the inauguration of the meeting that concludes on Thursday, November 15.

Clark praised the role of several Cuban magazines in spreading the best works and experiences of the island's scientists in more than 100 scientific institutions across the nation.

He also commended the work of other national magazines dealing with agricultural science and tropical diseases that have received national and international recognition because of the high quality of their materials.

During the discussions of the event, participants will analyze topics such as the assessment of the publishing work, the editing of scientific articles, the development and impact of publications and their assessment.
