Cuban quartet Sexto Sentido performed at the Chilean Book Fair
The Cuban vocal quartet Sexto Sentido performed in activities dedicated to Chile at the XXVII International Book Fair of the capital city of the South American country. The Fair gathered over a million and a half copies.

Sexto Sentido, that is also part of the Cultural Embassies at the collateral concerts of the next Hispanic American Summit of chief of State, took its concerts at to different Chilean provinces.

The totally feminine quartet was formed in Havana in 1982 with the conviction, according to its members, of having a vocal harmony in the performance of different genres, such as rhythm, blues, jazz and lost of fusion with the Cuban music.

They also tried other rhythms such as the Bossa Nova. They original mark is in the fusion of musical stiles and influences and in the creation of their own themes. Prensa Latina indicated that in the Cuban Day of this international Book event, that was held at the Estación Mapocho Cultural Center in Santiago, there was also presented the "Biografía de un Cimarrón" (1966), (Biography of a runaway slave), written by the Cuban essay writer Miguel Barnet. The book tells the story of a Cuban slave who ran to the wild and survived until the beginnings of the XX century.
