The Sixth Continental Congress of Natural Medicine will take place in Cuba November 26-30 with the attendance of experts from ten countries, the event's organizing committee informed.
Doctor Elisa Aznar stated as a president of the congress that food as a base of medicine, as well as micro-nutrients and its lacks and importance in Biological and Natural Medicine are issues included the delegates' working agenda.
Also on the list are advances in diotherapy for special regimes like cancer, kidney failure, HIV-AIDS, aging, sports, and other diseases, antioxidants, ozonetherapy, acupuncture, homeopathy, among other issues
The floral therapy and medicinal plants, application in biotechnology, proteomic and genomic, will be an important theme in the congress, Aznar said.
