Hip arthroscopy results will be presented at International Orthopedic Congress

Osteosynthesis and hip arthroscopy, the latter a new procedure in Cuba, will enrich the International Orthopedic Congress September 17-22.
Rodrigo Alvarez Cambras, president of the Cuban Society of Orthopedics and Traumatology, said those topics will be on the agenda together with the use of new prosthesis technologies.
Demonstrations to some 300 specialists from 15 countries will yield new experiences in treating shoulder, elbow and hip injuries caused by osteoporosis, osteoarthritis and osteotomy.
The event, sponsored by the International Society of Orthopedic Surgery and Traumatology and the Spanish Arthroscopy Association, will be held in Vinales, Pinar del Rio.
Alvarez Cambras said these events are very useful for exchanging knowledge and application of the discipline.
