Study center of Che to be opened in Venezuela

A Center for Latin American Political Studies will be opened in Venezuela at the former leper colony where Argentinean-born Ernesto Che Guevara once served as a doctor during his tour of Latin America.
Alexis Toledo, mayor of the Vargas municipality, said the facility will be named after the Argentinean-Cuban revolutionary, says a PL report.
ifty five years ago, Guevara arrived in Venezuela during a motorcycle tour of the continent he made with the purpose of learning first hand the reality of the people of the region. He served as a doctor in the leper colony then located in a place known as Cabo Blanco.
Toledo told the VEA Venezuelan newspaper that the new center will provide a space for those interested on discussing and studying the Left political thinking in Latin America.
The Center will have a conference room and a library that will house the work of the Latin American thinkers.
