The 10th International Transportation Fair starts Wednesday in this capital's EXPOCUBA exhibition center, with attendance of companies from over 40 nations.

The fair joins a revitalization process of transportation currently underway here, and will show advances for local experts to exchange experiences with foreign suppliers.

According to Maria Elena Garcia, president of the organizing committee, China, Venezuela and Russia will be present.

Parallel to the event is the 15th Annual Meeting of the Special Transportation Committee of the Association of Caribbean States, attending by experts from its 25 country members.

Along with trade, industrial and small cars, the fair also will display lubricants, paints and other similar items.

In addition to the usual professional visits today, there will be the Cuba-Russia Talks to strengthen trade ties.

Among several exhibiting firms attending the fair, which will end September 30, is the Chinese company Yutong, manufacturer of all kind of passenger transport buses.
