"Oh, Havana!" is the name of the new Cuban television soap opera that will begin airing on April 17. The script was written by the late playwright Abraham Rodriguez and will be shown on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

Charlie Medina, the director, said the soap has a love triangle as its central theme, involving people in different social stratus.

The script was finished by Euridice Charadan after Abrahim Rodriguez died when he had only a few chapters to write. At the time of his death, the busy author had also been working with film director Jorge Luis Sanchez on the script of the acclaimed feature film El Benny.

The latest Cuban soap includes performances by well known actors and actresses, Larisa Vega, Omar Ali, Roberto Perdomo, Barbaro Marin, Enrique Almirante and Maria Teresa Pina, with special appearances by Marta del Rio, Ofelia Nunez and Aramis Delgado.
