Luminato was illuminated with the successful presentation, the arts critics wrote, when appraising as "impressive and successful the presentation of the Cuban ballet group at the Royal Alexandra Theater of Toronto during the event that spanned from the first to the tenth of June.
"¡Vida!", the musical by the dance company and the voice of singer Omara Portuondo joined in a spectacular show that made the Cuban culture shine once again at international scenes, the critics underscored.
The premier of the world first showing of "!Vida!", that took place on the 5th of June was attended by Cuban Ambassador to Canada Ernesto Senti, and Cuban Cónsul General in Toronto Laureano Cardoso.
Each presentation of the Litz Alfonso ballet group received prolonged applause from the public, in recognition to the talent of the Cuban artists.
The most well known Canadian media highlighted the wonderful combination of music, colors and dances that placed the Cuban ensemble among the most relevant attractions of the Luminato Festival and especially of the Canadian audience.
Due to the significant impact achieved by "¡Vida!" local theatre producers extended the presentations until the end of June.
