Commissions of Energy and Mines, Labor Issues, Social Prevention and Legal Affairs of the Latin American parliament will be in session Thursday and Friday in Cuba.

President of the Cuban Parliament Ricardo Alarcon will inaugurate the meeting. The Havana session will verse upon a proposed framework law on renewable energy in region.
One of the issues in the agenda will be bio-fuels, and international treaties about it; as well as legislation and public policies aimed at achieving energy efficiency in the region.

Latin American law makers will also debate on such issues as migration and women unemployment.

Venezuelan representative Victor Chirinos will introduce a Latin American Labor Bill. There will be another bill introduced on minimum salary for Latin American workers.

Cuban Deputy Tomas Cardenas will deliver a conference on the protection and defense of the rights of physically impaired people.
