Homage for the author of Mi socio Manolo, is related with his 70th anniverasry

Eugenio Hernández Espinosa, one of the most outstanding playwrights in Cuba, is receiving around these days in La Habana, a deserved tribute of admirers, cultural institutions and friends with motive of his 70th birthday.
The homage for the author of La Simona and Mi socio Manolo, is also related to the 40th anniverasry of Maria Antonia, one of the most famous pieces of the classical theater and the Cuban cinema. According to specialists Eugenio`s work is inscribed in the purest branch of our popular art, such as Nicolás Guillén, Alejo Carpentier, Alejandro García Caturla, Amadeo Roldán and Wifredo Lam.
