Hemingway is back in Havana

At a distance of 60 years following the collapse of the German Reichstag, emblem of Hitler fascism and facing a new aggressive escalation of Bush administration, Havana is to host the 10th International Colloquium on Ernest Hemingway, North-American intellectual who joined the global anti-fascist fight.

The event will take place in Havana from May 23rd - 25th. Several of the countries to participate in addition to the host country are USA, France, England, Italy.

The local institution of studies on Ernest Hemingway and others are working on the events organization at the beautiful Vigía Museum , the authors property , located on the outskirts of Havana, where he lived from time to time between 1940 and 1960 and where he wrote his recognized and laureate novels "The Old Man and the Sea" and " Paris was a Fiesta".
