Full employment
In spite of the fact that nearly 190 million people lack remunerated jobs in the world, the Cuban province of Sancti Spiritus reports an unemployment rate of 0,9%, the lowest in the history of this territory only preceded by Las Tunas province's rate.

Youth and women are assigned a priority for employment and education in this central territory of the island, and at present moment, every person able to work is already employed.

In the year 2006, the unemployment rate in Cuba, a Third World barely industrialized country was 1,9%. Instead, the International Labor Organization (ILO) reported an unemployment world rate of 6,3%.

The Cuban Revolution has always given special priority to full employment unlike other countries where in spite of the economic development, there is a lack of will to educate the people and to provide them with jobs.
