Earth sciences to convene in Cuba

Cuba will host Geociencias 2007, the second Earth Sciences Convention from March 20-23, with 700 guests from 19 countries.
Dr. Evelio Linares Cala, organizing committee chairman, said the event is sponsored by Cuba's Geology Society.
Geociencias 2007 will run parallel with Geofisica 2007, the first Cuban Congress of Oil and Gas - Petrogas 2007, plus Mineria 2007.
Mineria 2007 announces two special events: the fourth Mining and Metallurgy Symposium Mine-metal 2007 and the third International Symposium on Geology, Exploration and Exploitation of Nickel Lateri.
