"Kordavision" a documentary film about Cuban photographer Alberto Korda ( 1928-2001) author of the most well known photo image of Ernesto Che Guevara, was shown for the first time last Monday, as part of the New Latin American Cinema International Festival.

The director of the film, Hector Cruz Sandoval explained that this film united four stars of Cuban photography: Korda, Liborio Noval, Raul Corrales and Osvaldo Salas, in a conversation with President Fidel Castro.

"Kordavisión", " reflects the 40 years long career of the photographer, that began as a fashion photos artist and ended up by turning into one of the lens masters that reflected the Cuban Revolution", according to what Prensa Latina news agency underscored.

The 93 minutes long film, has a sound track in which music by famous Cuban artists is heard, among them Leo Brower, Carlos Puebla, Carlos Embale, Ramon Veloz, Benny More, Los Compadres, Los Zafiros among others.

Since it was produced in 2005, "Kordavision" was successfully shown in film festivals, including Latin Beat of New York, the Monterrey , Mexico event, as well as in Beverly Hills, San Francisco and Puerto Rico.

It was also shown in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Malaga in Spain, Cork in Ireland and Guadalajara ,Mexico.

The premiere of the documentary, that took place at a centrally located movie theater of Havana, was attended by Ricardo Alarcon de Quesada, President of the Cuban Parliament.
