Loló, an imaginary world is the newest exhibition inaugurated by the National Museum of Fine Arts, in its Cuban Art building. With this exhibition, dedicated to the work of Dolores Soldevilla, a relevant personality of Cuban plastic arts, the institution welcomes the Day of National Culture which is celebrated on October 20th.

Loló (1901-1971) was painter, sculptor, designer, and engraver and she outstood for her work as creator and promoter of concrete art in Cuba.

The exhibition, opened in the transitory ward of the Cuban Art building, its integrated by 34 works in different supports comprising the period between 1950 and 1969. The exhibition illustrates each stage in the production of the artist, since her figurative stage until her consolidation in abstract painting. Some of the pieces are part of the collection at the National Museum of Fine Arts and others were provided by the artist's family.
