Cuban pianist Gonzalo Rubalcaba is nominated to the Latin Billboard Awards in the genre of jazz with his album Solo, reported in L.A. that organization.
Rubalcabas disc vies against Around the City, by Brazilian Eliane Elías, and Dances, Prayers, and Meditations for Peace, by Puerto Rican Néstor Torres.
Gonzalo Rubalcaba, for many, the second best Cuban pianist after Jesús Chucho Valdés, he is the grandson of Jacobo Rubalcaba, author of the famous danzon El cadete constitucional.
In the awarding ceremony that will take place in the city of Miami, Florida on April 26, the reggaeton singers have 16 nominations in the main nominations of the competition.
