Architectural and Engineering Projects (EMPROY-2) is a Cuban firm that in recent years has provided services in 20 nations on four continents, reported the Cuban News Agency.

Designs, technical advice and consultations are offered by Cuban personnel abroad, said Julia E. Sosa, director of the business.

EMPROY-2 designs plans for tourist infrastructure; repairs, hospitals and hospital expansions; medical clinics, research centers, educational and sports centers, housing projects and food markets.

Sosa said the firm strives to increase efficiency and reduce the time involved in implementing projects as well as lowering investment costs. He noted that more than 300 experienced technicians and professionals work for the company.

Since 1987, EMPROY-2 has provided technical assistance to Colombia, Mexico, Grenada, Jamaica, Dominican Republic, Venezuela, Nicaragua and Peru, as well as other countries in Africa, Asia and Europe.
