The centennial of the first Cuba veterinary school, founded in April 10, 1997, will be commemorated and issues related with the production and animal reproduction, challenges with food production and others will be tackled in the meeting.

Disasters and their consequential diseases, biological security, environmental protection, animal welfare and mew medicine production are other aspects on the table.

Acupuncture, beekeeping, poultry farming, biotechnology, animal surgery, international trade, veterinary education, homeopathy, epizootiology and ethics are other points to discuss in the meeting.

Parallel events include the IV International Seminar in Veterinary Education, the III Congress about Veterinary Medicine in Disasters, the II Animal Reproduction Meeting and the II Naturalist and Bio-energy Encounter will be carried out, among others.
