Cuba remained in the world diving elite after winning a bronze medal at the 9th Grand Prix Super Final, held in Mexico.

China's team, which included several world and Olympic champions, retained the leadership after winning six gold, four silver and one bronze medals.

Experts noted the excellent performances by Athens 2004 champions

Jingjing Guo and Minxia Wu, as well as world champions Feng Wang and Chong He.

The United States won a gold medal in the women's three-meter springboard synchronized diving contest. The medalists were Kelci Bryant and Ariel Rittenhouse.

Cuba's Erick Fornaris and Jorge Betancourt finished third in the men's three-meter springboard synchronized diving competition, thus showing their excellent preparation for the Pan-American Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, next year.
