The 12th International Agricultural Fair "FIAGROP 2007" concluded in this capital with the delivery of awards and recognition of participants from several nations.

The Revolution s Commander Guillermo Garcia Frias, who attended the closing ceremony of this event, told Prensa Latina on Sunday that the encounter has risen in participation and quality of species displayed.

Deputy Agriculture Minister Jose Francisco Galan stated that the country started arrangements to celebrate in 2008 the 75th anniversary of this agricultural event.

Among special awards were those of the stand of Germany, Havanos S.A. and "The Three Friends" ranch from the United States, as well as Cuban groups Gaipa, Gema and Comagro.
