The cultural gathering Sábado del Libro honours the Literature National awardee, poet, essayist, art critic and novelist Cintio Vitier. A new title the author signs will be presented at the Sábado del Libro venue Palacio del Segundo Cabo (the Palace of the Second corporal Home) today, September 23, on the eve of the writers 85th birthday anniversary, whom Mexico awarded with Juan Rulfo Prize.

Now Editorial Letras Cubanas publishes Memorias y olvidos by Félix Varela 1st Degree Order laureate, the highest recognition Cuba grants to the nationals. Testimony, fable, memories and fancies of a man who has lived and experienced at full faith, love, his childhood, friendship, images of the past and present period and which at most fill up his amazing lifetime, dreams and way of saying.
