Chinese, cuban legislators meet

China s Parliament President Wu Bangguo and Cuba s Ricardo Alarcon de Quesada met in this capital Monday, as part of the Cuban legislative leader s official visit to this Asian nation.
The president of the Cuban National Peoples Power Assembly (ANPP) is carrying out an extensive agenda, including interviews, papers and visits to China s sites of interest, invited by the National Peoples Assembly.
Wu Bangguo, also member of the Permanent Committee of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of China, said Alarcon s visit will foster even more bilateral relations between both peoples and parliaments, reinforce mutual friendship, and respective economic and social advances.
Alarcon leads his country s delegation made up of Miguel Alvarez, adviser of the ANPP, Hilda Vasallo, from the PCC International Relations Department, and Cuba s ambassador to China Carlos Miguel Pereira.
