They have common dreams since 2005 when founded the group, and stated that to have strong bonds and good relationships among them are the basis of communication and development.

At the beginning, Ars Nabis was integrated by the artists Juan Suarez Blanco, Elvis Cellez Gonzalez, Irina Elen Gonzalez, Juan Miguel Suarez and Israel Naranjo Sandoval, besides they counted on the curator Amalina Bomnin and Julio del Llano as the principal member for his part as coordinator.

Youth and experience

When they emerged as a group their strategies were very well defined. The artists would be young people with a proposal closer to contemporary art, moreover they followed two special categories, one aimed at promoting solid and lack of promotion works, and the other at recovering classic works by dead artists or not.

The results

Julio del Llano told us about the promotion of the group, and noted that the labor has been profitable during two years, taking into account that until January 2007 the group has made seven exhibitions.

The venue goes beyond our province, because six of the works were exhibited in important art galleries of the capital, and thanks to that Elvis Cellez earned the right to participate in the International Art Fair of Toronto, Canada 2005.

Last year they exhibited outstanding personal collections such as Delimitar lo imposible and Pequeños sueños insulares, and the collective ones Closed, Subasta Ars Nabis and Jet-Lag.

Like ants

If there is something that can teach us to know the importance of unity, ants are the best. A single one of them is insignificant, however thousands can carry much more superior loads than their weight. More or less thats Ars Nabiss essence.

As a whole they can work much better, promote their art and achieve exquisiteness in their exhibitions.

New blood

The "stream blood" of Ars Nabis now has renewed energies thanks to other artists who are part of this family now.Jesus Gastell, Yoemir Alfonso, Juan Garcia Milo, Carlos Hernandez Alcocer and Atilano Armenteros.

To fight against factors that obstruct promotion and the market of the works is one of the principal goals of Ars Nabis and to achieve that, they found a road: unity.
