Cuban film maker Arturo Sotto (1967), twice nominated for Goya prize, will present, on May 22nd, his most recent film, confirmed the Cuban Film Institute. ¨The night of innocents¨ (La Noche de los Inocentes), is the title of the film in which Silvia Aguila plays the leading role, along with Jorge Perugorria ; ¨Strawberry and Chocolate¨ (Fresa y Chocolate).

The script of the film is an equivocal comedy under the director's responsibility, which began to film in digital system, as it is usual in the island now. Sotto has been working in the seventh art for more than ten years where he made short movie well received by critics like "Talco para lo Negro" (1992) and polemical feature films like ¨Think about me" (Pon tu Pensamiento en mi), (1995).

In 2002 he was awarded with the unpublished script at Havana International Film Festival for the work Peter Pan Kids. In 2004 he deserved a scholarship of Carolina of Spain Foundation for an Ibero-American course of scripts' development.
