Penny Pritzker, US Secretary of Commerce, will travel to Havana next week
The US Secretary of Commerce, Penny Pritzker, will travel to Havana on 6 and 7 October next.
On the agenda of the visitor, who will meet with members of the Cuban government are fundamental issues as the process of normalization of relations between the two countries and the easing of trade restrictions recently announced by Washington, the US government reported.
Pritzker will also co-chair the bilateral regulatory dialogue, through which representatives of the Treasury and Commerce will describe the new travel rules, trade and financial transactions, taking into account the recent measures taken.
Pritzker's trip is the second of a member of the current US administration to Cuba in less than three months.
