Luis de Guindos, Minister of Economy of the Spanish State, will visit Cuba between 2 and 7 November next.
The trip will take place in the framework of the International Fair of Havana, the largest of the island and the Caribbean, with the presence of 4,500 exhibitors from 60 countries, reports El País.
Guindos received Cuban Vice President Ricardo Cabrisas in Madrid on July 16. In the talks it was agreed to renegotiate short-term debt (300 million out of 2,442). It is expected that the signing of the agreement will take place during the visit of Minister of Economy to Havana.
Spain is the first partner of Cuba in the European Union. So far three economic delegations have visited the island.
