Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson visits Cuba
Republican Asa Hutchinson, governor of Arkansas (USA), starts today, September 29th, a visit to Cuba.
Hutchinson will be on the island until October 2nd with the intention of promoting agricultural products of that state. Hutchinson came with a delegation of businessmen of the rice sector, said today the US-Cuba Trade and Economic Council in a statement.
So far, the US blockade has prevented Cuba trade relations in this and other sectors of the economy. "I think is really there (in Cuba) an opportunity," said Gov. past 21 to representatives of the rice sector in Little Rock (Arkansas), referring to the still existing limitations imposed for decades on the island.
