First US-Cuba commission meeting to be held in Havana

The first meeting of the US-Cuba Bilateral Commission will take place September 11 in Havana to define an agenda to be considered following the reestablishment of bilateral relations between the two countries.
According to Cuban television, the island´s delegation will be headed by the general director for the United States at the Cuban Foreign Ministry, Josefina Vidal and on the US side, the acting deputy assistant secretary of state for Western Hemisphere affairs Edward Alex Lee.
The bilateral commission will focus on the new areas for cooperation in the benefit of the two countries.
